Teacher Appreciation Week – Woodlands Methodist School
We believe that strong communities are built by supporting the people who make a difference every day. In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, our team had the privilege of delivering snacks and goodies to the dedicated staff at The Woodlands Methodist School as a small token of gratitude for their hard work, passion, and commitment to educating future generations. Giving back is an important part of our mission, and we are proud to support the educators who help shape our community. We look forward to more opportunities to partner with them and make a positive impact in our area!

The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Ball
In August 2025, L&Y attended The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Ball, an event celebrating business leadership and community growth across our region.
Participating in events like this reinforces L&Y’s dedication to collaboration, excellence, and building strong relationships within the business community.
Kid’s Meals mission is to end childhood hunger by delivering free healthy meals to the doorsteps of Montgomery County’s hungriest preschool-aged children.
Every weekday, volunteers prepare healthy lunches consisting of a sandwich, nutritious snacks and 100% juice or milk.
In August 2025, our Community Relations Coordinator Allie Kretsinger went out to Kids Meals and assisted in putting together hundreds of meals for kids in the Montgomery County area.
Our team hopes to partner with Kids Meals more in the future, to make a lasting impact and to help end hunger in our area!

Montgomery County Food Bank Volunteer Opportunity
In July 2025, the L&Y team volunteered with the Montgomery County Food Bank, helping sort and package food donations for families in need. Supporting organizations that strengthen our community reflects L&Y’s commitment to service, partnership, and making a meaningful local impact.

Teacher Appreciation – The John Cooper School
This past May, L&Y Tax Advisors was excited to partner with The John Cooper School to provide breakfast and coffee for teachers, to show our appreciation for all they do for kids in our community.
We know that whether public school or private school, teachers are pouring into kids every single day, and we want to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU and show them that we see them!
